A COOL WHEY TO SPEND YOUR SUMMER

Heyyyy there. Wanna work with us?? We're looking for a part-time intern this spring & summer 2019.

You can see what we're all about throughout this site, but for the basics: we upcycle surplus fresh whey from local cheese and yogurt makers to create an Alpine-inspired, nutritious, and refreshing beverage. We just launched our first product line in April, and will need an intern to help on a variety of topics including: product development; marketing (both in-store and social media); and distribution. The position would be part-time with hours determined on a weekly basis. We've all been interns before, and although the unpaid part is not ideal, it's a great learning opportunity, and once you help us make it big, there's a possibility we could bring you on in a paid role in the fall.

Superfrau's mission is to convert fresh whey from a "pesky byproduct" to a "value-add co-product" for small and medium-size cheese and yogurt makers. So while working with us, you'll see first-hand the ups and downs of a sustainable food/beverage start-up, while simultaneously participating in the movement to curb food waste.

We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, and who is passionate about sustainability and innovation in our food supply chain. Ideally, the candidate would have a background in nutrition and an understanding of content marketing. It would be a plus if the candidate has a background in product development and / or food science. Above all, the candidate must be open-minded, flexible, and able to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and capabilities.
